How Grade 10 Placement Works

Kigumo Bendera High School is a public Senior School, and Grade 10 placement is conducted by the Ministry of Education through the national placement process.

During the Grade 9 selection process, learners select their preferred Senior Schools through the Ministry of Education's school selection system.

National Placement
Placement is conducted competitively by the Ministry of Education based on: Grade 9 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) results. The 12 school choices submitted through the Ministry of Education school selection portal.

Download Your Admission Letter
Once the placement results have been released: Visit the Ministry of Education Admission Portal. Download your admission letter using your Learner Assessment Number. Carefully read the joining instructions provided.

Report to School
Successful learners should report to Kigumo Bendera High School on the specified reporting date with: Printed Admission Letter. All documents listed in the Joining Instructions. Personal effects and school requirements as indicated in the admission package.

Transfer/ Vacancy Admission: Transfer Process

Students currently enrolled in other secondary schools who wish to transfer to Kigumo Bendera High School may apply for admission, subject to available vacancies.
